MINO CERAMIC CO., LTD. was established at in Mizunami City, Gifu Prefecture

Established, succeeding its predecessor, the Mizunami Firebrick Limited Partnership.
Started production of refractory bricks and acid resistant bricks (Head office: Mizunami Village, Toki-gun, Gifu Prefecture).

1919

Started production of chinaware

The company began manufacturing pottery and porcelain, including hand-hammered molding.

1928

10th anniversary of founding

Tokyo Branch Office opened in Sanwa Yogyo Shokai

1937

Kamezaki Plant was established in Handa City, Aichi Prefecture

1942

4 plant production system

Merged with Chuo Keiseki Brick Co., Ltd. and added Yokkaichi Plant and Shikoku (Naruto) Plant to form a four-plant production system.

1946

Opened Nagoya Sales Branch

1948

Changed to the current three plant production system

The Shikoku (Naruto) Plant was transferred to build a new junior high school in the same city, resulting in the current three-plant production system.

The purpose of this program is to pass on to future generations a wide variety and large number of modern cultural properties that are in danger of disappearing before they are recognized by society due to the recent progress of national land development, urban planning, and changes in lifestyles. The system is based on a notification system and guidance and advice, and is intended to complement the existing designation system (which carefully selects important objects and imposes strong regulations and generous protection, such as a permit system).
